Rise And Shine!

We often forget about these bodies of ourselves and how much we abuse them on daily basis. πŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

We eat food that is hard to breakdown and digest. 🍭🍩🍟

We keep our emotions and stress bottled up πŸ₯΄, putting significant strain on all of our muscles and organs 🧠.

We don’t get NEARLY enough sleep πŸ› to allow the body to recover, restore, and repair.

When was the last time you woke up feeling rested enough to tackle the day? πŸ€” It’s so easy for us to say β€œyeah yeah..I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” But here’s the problem with brushing off the importance of πŸ’€:

1. 75% of us who have depression ALSO suffer from lack of sleep.

2. More than 20% of serious car accidents are attributed to lack of πŸ’€.

3. Lack of πŸ’€ KILLS your sex drive πŸ† and lowers testosterone.

4. Increases your risk of heart disease, weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, memory issues and mood disorders, etc...

Need I say more? πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ If you feel out of sorts, check in with how much sleep you’re getting. Your body literally can not function without rest and recovery.

Remember: you only get ☝🏼 body. You can not zip this one off when you’re done and put a new one on. Once it breaks down, that’s it. Be so very very nice to it and give it what it needs to survive!
