You’re Fixn’ For A Fight, Aren’t you?
Think back to the last time you got angry with someone 🤔; a loved one, co-worker, the guy that cut you off on the way to work today, the gf who just will not stop nagging you.😖
How did you react? Did you blow up and tell them off? 😠😡🤬 How good does it make you feel when you react with anger?
Sometimes pretty good, right?🤷🏻♀️ Because who do they think they are? 😤 You know you’re right and you’re going to prove it to them!
Cool. But is it worth it? 😟 One thing we ALL need to work on is picking our battles. Getting mad and blowing our cool 🤯 can actually get addictive. And then you turn into the guy that’s motto is “me vs. the 🌎”. Yuck.🤮
Next time someone makes your skin crawl, take just a millisecond to think about your reaction and ask yourself, “Is it worth it? Is this a battle I want to start today? Do I want to waste my energy on this?” 🤔
If you answered “yes” to those questions above, then by all means continue with your rant. Just make sure you fully realize what the consequences are and that your need to be right or to be heard outweighs them.👀
