Make A Move (part 2)

And then there’s the other side: the man who’s partner has a higher sex drive than him.

This can bring on some SERIOUS anxiety. 😰

The old stereotype that STILL exists portrays men as needing sex ALL the time/the only thing on their minds. Even though this is a total myth, the perception is still prevalent today. So much so that when a guy does turn down sex, it’s like the end of the 🌎 for a woman. She generally has a complete meltdown 😩 thinking it’s a reflection of how he feels about her. Or she thinks he’s cheating on her.😕

Guys, I’m here to tell you your 🍆 is not the pinnacle of who you are. I know how much pressure society puts on the size, shape, circumference, how it works, etc...I can only imagine how stressful it is for you. 😞 Women and their expectations definitely do not make it any easier.

But understand that it is okay if you have lower sex drive. 👐🏼 As men age, testosterone starts to decrease, which results in lower sex drive. Stress, depression, lack of exercise, and even certain medications can be MAJOR factors that can kill your desire for sex. 😑

If you feel like your sex drive has started to diminish, it’s not the end of the 🌎. I promise. Get your hormone levels checked by a doctor. Make your mental health and physical wellness your top priority. And be open with your partner about how you’re feeling. It’s nothing to feel bad about or embarrassed by. Allow your partner in so that you can work through these issues together, openly and honestly. 🙏🏻
