Why Men?

I get this question A LOT. Daily in fact. To which I respond, “why not men?” So what if I’m a trailblazer and the only woman who advocates on behalf of men?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I ran into an old colleague the other day and was briefly telling her about the work I do for men. Her response was, “That’s a nice side hustle”. Only it’s not a side hustle. It’s my main line of work. It’s my passion. I firmly believe in what I do and work very hard on a daily basis paving a road 🛣 that doesn’t exist.

Why Men? Because they matter too. ✊🏼 Women have every resource and mentor under the 🌞 that they can turn to. Men don’t because society told them to fend for themselves. Society never thought men needed anything at all in fact. 😞

Men are more than just what they do for a living, how much💰they make, or what 🚗 they drive. They are human beings that have dreams, emotions, fears, insecurities, personal struggles.

My purpose and mission gets refueled from my conversations with all of you and the life stories you share. I’ve always empathized with what men go through in their lives. But I too see the mistakes I have made and the misconceptions I had years ago about men.

Men matter. Men need advocates, guidance, support, mentors, and to be heard. It’s not work or a career for me. It’s my life purpose to be that voice for men.
